We will also have available a product developed in 2011 with a SMART award a data-logger for monitoring cow movements and posture for behavioural analysis.  A test set of collars will be available to eCow Partnership members this autumn which will enable researchers to measure the standing, lying and feeding times of cows. read more

 

 

Lameness Detection

Last year we field tested a method of routinely and non-invasively measuring mobility score (or lameness).  We filed a patent on this some time ago and we are now ready to seek licensees for this radical technology.
